About us
Our story
For many young players, a football career ends before it even begins. Were you one of them?
There are many reasons why dreams are shattered, but two factors stand out:
Insufficient Player Support: Poor club finances often mean there are too few people and resources per player to provide the individual support each player needs.
Coaching Challenges: Without adequate training, it is difficult for coaches to provide the right guidance in a complex sport with tactical, technical, physical, and mental challenges.
Early dropouts and broken dreams in football have become a societal problem. Feeling a sense of belonging is still one of the three psychological basic needs. Without it in sports, young people seek it elsewhere, which can lead to:
-
Crime: Gang-related crime has become a real problem in Sweden.
-
Social Isolation: Without a sense of community, young people can feel lonely and excluded.
-
Health Issues: Less physical activity leads to poorer health.
-
Alcohol and Drugs: Without sports, children may seek dopamine boosts through other means.
Dropouts also negatively impact clubs:
-
Reduced Revenue: Decreased membership fees and financial support from municipalities in Sweden.
-
Random Player Development: Difficult to systematize player development.
